The Avonair Curling Club welcomes players of all levels, from beginner to competitive. We are committed to supporting curling at the grass root level and we encourage schools (K-12) around Edmonton to use our facilities free of charge. Our curling club features 8 sheets and exceptional ice conditions, as well as a full suite of after-game and lounge facilities.
The Avonair wishes all our members an enjoyable Summer!

JUNIOR SUPPORT PROGRAM
Curlers and Coaches,
The Avonair Curling Association realizes that junior curling is the future of our sport, and we would like to offer additional training and support to junior curlers and coaches. The Avonair Junior Support Program or “JSP,” may provide the following:
- Priority booking to all JSP members on available practice ice.
- All practice ice free of charge.
- All JSP team equipment purchased at our Pro Shop will be at a discounted price.
- Additional coaching expertise offered on a consulting basis by Jules Owchar (Coach for Team Kevin Martin), and Mark Johnson (2011 World Senior Champion and Coach of Team Crystal Webster).
- The Avonair is willing to consider the purchase of training equipment viewed necessary by coaches in order to develop and train their athletes. I.e. Video analysis, timers….etc.
- League fees at ½ prices.
- Possible team sponsorship available through the Avonair and JSP business partners.
- The use of Avonair board room for team meetings, strategy sessions…etc.
